candlelight farms inn

oh I am absolutely swooning over the beautiful Candlelight farms Inn. I took a walk around last week with a bride & her fiancé , and every corner I turned was quainter than the next! This is a family run and operated farm, that only hosts weddings. They have become so popular they are now booking for 2015~so get on it if you want to book your wedding here. The Inn has several outbuildings (and sweet little cottages) you can stay in, as well as the Inn itself, which is historic. The barns have been renovated into lovely large spaces for reception/party area, They also have stables, and a private pond ( canoe's too) and insanely beautiful perennial gardens to boot. OK, so I had to add another post of Rebecca and Chris' wedding because I just couldn't fit all the details into one. Forgive my obsession with this wedding, but it was so spectacular in all the details, and they are the cutest couple! Wouldn't you agree??

flatrock farm

I did a little walkabout at Flatrock farm today in Cornwall for the wedding I am shooting on saturday.  I was speechless walking around. How beautiful is it?!

Every wedding I shoot, instantly becomes my favorite, but this one was really special. There was a sense of calm when I arrived at the farm despite the pouring rain. Plan "B" went into effect immediately, which meant instead of an outdoor ceremony, the ceremony would take place in Rich's barn (Julie's dad). Tractors were moved, and friends and family flew into action--hanging lanterns and preparing for the barn ceremony.

Kate and Brooke

Kate and Brooke were married in May. I loved getting to know both of them. They had a beautiful church ceremony followed by a gorgeous reception at The Boulders Inn, on Lake Waramaug, all in Washington Connecticut.
