DIY wire picture hanger

So I was looking for a spot to hang these little ones (there were on my fridge). I found some picture wire, and these clips, and hung them above my computer desk. Now I kinda want an entire wall like this. You can also rotate different images when you tire of looking at the same ones, which I like.  Here is the link to buy clips, though you may find them at a hardware store. You can find wire at almost any hardware store or Michaels' crafts store. What do you think? Would you do this?

Bode

So I have been pretty busy this summer with weddings and such, but what has been keeping me the most busy is my new puppy, Bode, who I got in late June. He has already stolen my heart. Of course he has already become one of the most photographed golden retriever puppies ever. Here captured on July 4th, at our families annual party (he was pretty popular).

P.S- his sister Ruby is enjoying him almost as much as he is enjoying her.

a tree grows in brooklyn

A tree does indeed grow in Brooklyn. Taking a break from working a wedding, I actually got to attend one as a guest (congrats to my cousin Joe and his beautiful bride Janet). They got married at the botanic garden in Brooklyn, NY on Saturday. Since I was not working I left the heavy equipment at home and enjoyed myself, and snapped a few shots with my iphone (shake it app). The gardens are so beautiful, I want to go back! I can't believe what a sheltered life I lived growing up in Manhattan, rarely leaving the upper west side. Visit the website !
