I have been in remodel (or refresh) mode the last several months. It's been almost 13 years since I moved into my house. I want to keep updating and making it fresh! Last spring I painted and updated the kitchen and dinning area (you can see the after here). Now I think my living room could use a few updates! I have been eying this Jonathan Adler chair for a while now (never mind that it is completely out of my price range). I love and desperately need some new rugs. Right now all I have is sisal/jute, and it is pretty but a bit itchy! My niece refers to my living room as the "itchy room". Not great. I love the juxtaposition of modern mixed with old, and living in a circa 1734 house, I always try to add little modern touches so it doesn't become too much of an antique museum-looking house. I am so outgrowing my old pottery barn furniture even though it's still in good shape and pretty comfy. What do think? You can click on the number/image below to check them out for yourself!
