Recently I have been writing a column on weddings. It has given me a lot of pause-- time to think about the twenty years I have experienced observing through my lens the vows a person takes in front of their loved ones. It is a beautiful thing, whether scripted or not. It had me thinking about the few times that I actually shed a tear behind that lens—and it was always those unscripted moments (the ones that catch you off guard) when a bride or groom wrote their own vows. Here are a few shots from various weddings of couples in the midst of saying their vows. Do you think you would cry at your own wedding? Did you cry at your own wedding?
